For the past week the May days here in Southern Ontario have been cool, windy and changeable to say the least..

    That's a BIG painting with a dynamic and colorful sky! Looks playful and yet threatening, too. Nice job! Plein air?

    Thanks Katherine--yes, the moods (playful and yet threatening) I was in while working:-D

    Actually it is painted on top of a plein air sundown that I wasn't thrilled about and used the under-painting as a guide. I do that a lot. I am not sure if I am satisfied with the outcome--I think I need to quiet down passages in the sky--maybe not...
