Who doesn't love forsythia?..even the name! Every spring I paint it in homage to the promise of colour and renewal for the upcoming months. The painting below was rendered last year...the bush is brimming with buds for this year's painting..any day now:-)

They're finally blooming here in CT, too! Looks like spring is finally here! Thanks for the kind comments & visiting my blog! Slainte, Roxanne
ReplyDeleteGreat forsythia - they've just finished blooming here - spring is finally upon us!
ReplyDeleteThis one really caught my eye! Super use of complimentary color and great shapes. Already sold? Wow!
ReplyDeleteThe forsythia here bloomed while I was on a trip. By the time I got home, just a few blooms were hanging on the branches and the leaves had started to pop. My dogwood tree blooms today! Must be Spring.
Wow! we all do LOVE the Spring! I so very much appreciate your comments!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, forsythia! Wonderful use of color everywhere. The yellow stands out so nicely against the muted background. Very lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your insightful and encouraging words on my recent postings. Your understanding of what I am trying to achieve and of my process is really appreciated. I checked out Stewart Jones and will be looking in to some of the galleries that represent him. Thanks for the link.
