March, Remains of the Day
oil on canvas
12x36in, 2010
I'm having a difficult time documenting this as I can't seem to capture the subtle nuances of value shifts in the background when I edit with my photo editor. I really should take some time and learn how to do this, and to take photos with proper indoor lighting. I just take work outside on a grey day and lay it flat. Easy for small works but larger I have to stand on a chair or ladder--I'm sure my neighbours must get a chuckle:-) Anyone have advice that's not too left brain?
