"September fattens on vines.
Roses flake from the wall.
The smoke of harmless fires drifts to my eyes.
This is plenty. This is more than enough."

September..a time of abundance. You have certainly portrayed an abundant landscape, vines heavy with grapes from the August sun. Very "signature" Jan Yates! Love the red/orange in the foreground and the two posts, with the third just out of sight.
ReplyDeleteThanks Catherine! The grapes are so early this year..and the smell is divine..
ReplyDeleteAbundance ! ... Jan the rich, jewel tone colours are like a simile for the flavours and feast for the eyes and belly that fall is yet to bring. ... total exuberence ! ... oh yes, and yet more offerings from the 'queen of sky' !
