'a time for every purpose under heaven' ... the painting is stunning Jan, ... in its 'apparent' simplicity / but very apparent complexity and abundance of 'tamed chaotic' colour ! (story of my life , controlled chaos !) ... I must say, after the 'hollyhocks' this is #2 on my 'most favs' list of your works that I have seen ... still luvin' June & Joan too though !

Thank you for sharing this poem and this gorgeous painting. Looking at this painting, I find myself thinking of the wonderful soil and protected land of the Niagara region, which is now lost beneath urban sprawl. Your paintings are full of the richness the land provides. I wish we could all be more connected.
